<blockquote type="cite" cite>Thanks for the note = I'll give you my
non techie answer, since I've used Macs forever it seems, and will
post to list.</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>We do have a listserve of folks who can
answer the Q no doubt....subscription info [and you can set it to no
mail or digest if you want] is on the website, <a

<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Some programs and drivers need Classic to
run, not OSX....I've never had a Mini but my recall is that it may
still be able to run both, but sometimes Classic [the 'old' OS9] isn't
installed because most people don't use it these days. Your
disks that came with the Mini should have OS9 to install on them and,
I think [but can't confirm] that you can just go ahead and install OS9
on the mini...and that shoudl work.</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Better yet, you should go to the site of
the scanner manufacturer and download an OSX driver. It'll work
better and easier anyway.</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>There is also software [3rd party] that
helps Macs run well with all sorts of scanners by providing
appropriate drivers etc. But I don't know what it is, since I
haven't used it.</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Hope this helps and I'll post ot list in
case someone else more knowledgeable can help.</blockquote>
