column....</title></head><body>
<div>I need to write a column for the 6/07 issue of GPSolo
magazine [for lawyers] and the topics now included are as follows and
the editor's suggestion is in the next paragraph = any thoughts or
information? I dont' run a mixed network myself so having
others's information and tales would help alot...or give me a better
related topic....it's due Monday, so any suggestions or information
would be much appreciated....</div>

<div><font face="Arial" size="-1"> your column for the June 2007
issue of the Technology & Practice Guide will be due in about
three weeks-let's say March 5. The theme of this issue is
"Emerging Tools and Technology." Feature articles will include:
"Vista"; "BootCamp"; "Subscription Service Software";
"Case Management/Document Management (two-part article)";
"Training"; "Know When to Hold 'Em, Know When to Fold 'Em";
"IT Issues for Solos"; "Online Communities (e.g., SOLOSEZ);
"The Virtual Law Office"; and "Emerging Traps (New Ways to Commit
Malpractice via Computer)."</font></div>
<div><br></div>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>You could talk about using the Mac in
mixed networked environments. </blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Maybe interview some attorneys who are
doing that. Likely larger firm attorneys in Windows
environments. Possibly also smaller firms with Mac environments
and the odd windows machine.</blockquote>
<div><br>

</div>
<div>I guess what might be a good topic instead would be security if
one has Parallels/CrossOver/BootCamp/Windows on one's Intel Mac???
