<HTML><BODY style="word-wrap: break-word; -khtml-nbsp-mode: space; -khtml-line-break: after-white-space; ">one solution would be to get another SCSI drive and install it. It is not hard to do you just have to make sure that the scsi ID is not the same as your cd or original hard drive. you can have up to 7, though the case would probobly prohibit that many. Then you could transfer lesser used items to the other hard drive and keep only essentials on your first. Alternatively you could compress some of the files that are not used on your computer or erase multiple copies of those that replicate (like simple text, which gets included with tons of installs) to make room. I know older macs very well so contact me with any questions.<DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>dave bernal</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV><BR><DIV><DIV>On Oct 15, 2006, at 1:06 PM, dwight jackson wrote:</DIV><BR class="Apple-interchange-newline"><BLOCKQUOTE type="cite"> <DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2"> <DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2">where can a non member post or read on older mac questions?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2"></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2">If you were wondering, mine goes like this;</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2"></FONT> </DIV> <DIV>I am trying to get some files off of my old Performa 6300.
