[DM-MUG] Q ref Apple TV

I got my husband and myself an Apple TV for our anniversary [well, 
I'm the one who has researched it and wanted it] and want to be sure 
of how to connect it == we have an HDTV TV and a Mediacom DVR...I do 
have the HDMI cable thingie.

So, optimally, how is it hooked up???  my recall is there are 6-7 
input port places but maybe only 1 HDMI...
