The May 27th meeting was held a Haddock Computer this evening.

The topic was Graphic Convertor-- a graphics program with a  
reputation of opening many file types--over 200. It will also save in  
80 formats. It can be used to edit the images in a variety of ways.

Two things which were demonstrated were the ease of creating a  
slideshow and the modify and convert batchs of files. The modify and  
convert portion of the program gives the user power to modify image  
names, extensions  and many other characteristics.

The cost for a new license is $34.95 and for an upgrade $19.95. There  
are also options for a five user license in one household.

We also discussed the problem of topics for meetings. We need two  
things in this area-- possible programs and someone to give a program  
of the topic. We are working on s series of meetings about building a  
web page. Would some kind soul who knows what they are doing do a  
program on Photoshop Elements with at least some time being spent on  
layers. It was suggested that we might try a joint meeting wi the  
Digital Arts group on this topic.
