[DM-MUG] Keynote = slowing slides for viewing

I am putting together a presentation and while some slides are on 
screen long enough because I have parts moving in slowly and causing 
that = when I have a slide with a single image it rushes in and ends 
fast...how do I getit to just stay put and display for around 5 or so 
seconds without making that affect all the other slides?  I tried to 
use the Inspector for the document but  it appears to do it for all 
slides and I want to do it for only one here and htere.
