First class was full, don't know about the second because I couldn't
get in the first but this is of interest to me. I think Glazebrook
works at Meredith Publishing. There's a fee and it's ongoing for
several night all of which I'm up to. In California they call these
things SIGS (special interest groups) but of course we're not in
California.

Intro to Modern Web Design	3 Wks $50
Learn the basics of web design from a contemporary standpoint. Too
many web classes teach methods and techniques as old as the web
itself; this class will teach you what web designers are using today.
Learn the basics of XHTML and get an introduction to CSS in order to
create clean, usable pages that work everywhere and are search-engine
friendly. Basic computer skills required. Bring a 3 +" floppy disc or
USB flash drive to save your files. Instr: Glazebrook
Class Full	Hoover-118	Tue, Thu	March 25	6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Modern Web Design II	4 Wks $60
If you've taken the Intro to Modern Web Design course, or are already
comfortable with XHTML and are looking to brush up on modern
practices, this class is for you. You'll learn how to use Cascading
Style Sheets (CSS) to transform your well-crafted XHTML documents into
lean, attractive websites that work on all modern web browsers. Bring
a 3-1/2" floppy disc or USB flash drive to save your files. Instr:
Glazebrook

I think the topics look great! I think there are enough questions to
to make your choices may even bring in some new people.
After working with websites on dreamweaver, iWeb and trying to figure
it all out, I think each of those topics (design & hosting) would need
it's own night, unless we just want lip service on what they are. The
last two days, I have spent at Least 1 1/2 hours on the phone with
Apple and Go Daddy, and these are not my first sites. I've been doing
websites for over a year, but ran into some issues I couldn't resolve,
and they were fairly common issues.
