[DM-MUG] how do I disable sharing in Leopard?

Darcy,

The only way that these people would be showing up is if they are on  
the same network as you.  If you are paying for your wireless, this  
means that they are stealing bandwidth from you by being connected to  
your wireless.

If your building provides internet, then this is a different matter,  
as you most likely are on the same network.
