[DM-MUG] MEETING TUESDAY NIGHT

	The meeting next Tuesday [FEby. 26th, 7p] will be an open 
forum to answer people's questions and provide enlightenment and 
encouragement.  I'd like to talk about Leopard and Time Machine. 
Others no doubt will have security ideas to share, backing up 
strategies, networking ideas.

	**** My son's laptop was stolen at college and, although the 
horse is out of the barn, I'd like to talk about the various 
solutions to the issue [I've heard of LoJack, but there are no doubt 
others]

	We do have to have an election of officers and so far- STILL 
- no NEW persons have stepped forward to volunteer to serve. 
Officers are: President, Vice President [programs], Secretary [we do 
need someone to report on meetings each month], Treasurer [Ray Bowler 
said he'd do this and keep his job at present monitoring the 
listserve, which gets a fair amount of spam that he catches for us] 
and 'sergeant at arms and webmaster extraordinaire' [Dave McLaughlin 
who is doing great...].

	If anyone wants to serve or nominate someone else, please let 
me know asap so the slate can be sent out ahead of time.

	Someone should volunteer to bring pop and cookies so we don't 
have to impose on Haddock so much.
