Be nice to read that if you can find it. I've used SD! on many WD  
drives, Seagates, Hitachi/IBM's and Maxtors, all installed in a Mac,  
or in external cases (OWC Elites of various vintages). I have all  
brands of drives right now and have never experienced a problem that  
was "drive-specific." However, I avoid all brand-name drive cases as  
a general rule, so if one of those cases or interfaces/chipsets was a  
problem, I cannot speak to that. I also stick to FireWire as my  
interface of choice for drive connection. It might have been a USB or  
chipset limitation on an older Mac that you had to deal with.
