[DM-MUG] Installing Leopard

Just adding some personal experience.
I have tried every single method of installing Leopard and the most
trouble free method was the upgrade one. It's very odd, but I've
always had best results with OS X doing straight upgrades, be it 10.5,
10.4, etc. Just lucky I guess. My erase and install and archive and
install attempts with Leopard created behaviors and kernel panics that
sent me packing back to 10.4. I've since done a straight upgrade and
whatever problems I had before with erase or archive forms of
installation, aren't appearing. Maybe the clean install of 10.4 or the
10.5.2 patch solved my woes and not the upgrade method, but there it is.
