[DM-MUG] creating screensavers

It is not an X11 application.  It is part of the development tools.   
You need to install the development tools, but you don't need X11.   
You should have the developer tools on the Mac OS X DVD.  If not, you  
need to download XCode Tools from Apple's Developer site.
