you might need to empty the cache or reset Safari = you'll lose some 
stuff [retained passwords etc] but it'll run faster.  I think it also 
depends on how fast your ISP speed is.  There is a Safari 3 beta out 
which might be faster.  As long as you're having problems you might 
try it.

There may also be preferences to set in Safari ref. loading of images 
= others here know more, but those are things I have thought of.  You 
could go to Apple/Support/Discussions and check Safari area too.
