Frankly, for what it does the price is cheap.  Not for everyone 
certainly, but for the money you get:  calendar, contact info, iPod 
for music and video, safari browsing, password holder [$10 extra for 
that shareware program], entertainment, mail checking [without 
lugging a laptop], maps and directions, ....I could go on.  It's not 
a perfect machine and not for everyone, but it has been great for me 
and well worth the $$ expended.  I wouldn't expect anything of a $39 
phone.  I expect more of this one, and have gotten that and more.
