have a canoscan 9950F.
want to start scanning a gazillion family slides from 50's and 60's
have failed with the arcsoft software that accompanied the scanner.
have failed with silverfast.
now have a "help" request in at vuescan as i can't seem to make
anything happen with it.
anyone here have experience with scanning slides?
have any recommendations?
thanks.
mac os 10.4.9 with all related updates
20" rev b imac g5
slides are mounted in the scanner with the appropriate magazine.
don't seem to be able to figure out how to proceed with any of the
software
to get more than a single pic, or a dozen pics, of a dozen black slides
sitting in the tray.
have searched menus and help files.
have tried the old trick of just pressing every button available to
see what would happen.
do fine with scanning documents and photos.
can't figure out the slides.
