[DM-MUG] Some, not all, apps. on G5 are not opening

I've done that twice.  I tried to open Onyx and it wouldn't open either.
I do have a Diskwarrior disk and can boot off that if that is the 
next step, as it appears it may be, but the graph only shows 7% off
