Perfect drive setup for daily use plus mirroring, or high performance RAID arraying. The 128MB NVideo 6600LE graphics card delivers smooth performance for games like Halo, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, Start Trek Elite Force, Sims, etc. I've personally played these with great satisfaction on this machine. Productivity software runs like a champ too of course. 

It's 1.5 years old and still has 1.5 years of Applecare warranty coverage remaining. It runs almost silent even when under high load. I've tested the fans with Apple's diagnostics disk and they work loud and proud, but I've never found a work load that triggered them to go full force. This machine is completely reliable. I got a kernel panic once while unplugging a USB audio-capture device, but that was user error since the device was in use. 

I love the performance and have done some wonderful audio engineering and media conversion with it. I need to go mobile though so I can write/perform music at different locations and will use the proceeds to put towards a MacBook Pro.

This machine looks and works like it's been adored, because it has. :)
