Guess you've never worked in a cross-platform business where file  
sharing on a common server was SOP. Might work like this: Incoming  
attachment to Mac-using receptionist (or graphic artist) contains a  
virus. File gets placed on server. PC-using sales guy opens it,  
infects himself and then sends it to colleague (or it sends itself to  
a colleague or 50).
