[DM-MUG] Mail malfunction

Recently instead of sending my email immediately when I hit the send  
button the program Mail version 2  has been placing it in the outbox.  
I then get this message "This message could not be delivered and will  
remain in your outbox until it can be delivered.  The server refused  
to allow a connection on port 25".  I have to resend it two or three  
times before it is sent.  Does anyone have a way to correct this  
problem?
