Dear Friends,
Before I was in an accident which left me unable to sit at a desk, I used a
Mac Power PC 6500 (OS 9.1, the highest OS this machine can handle), circa
1998, with maxed out memory and a second internal disk drive for back-up,
with an oversized graphics quality screen and a great Personal Mac laser
printer. The whole set up is still in great working condition, and my
husband wants to know if he can use it for internet surfing.
We know that because these are SCSI and not usb, they can't be used with our
wireless router, DSL, and printers without a special card of some kind. Our
question is, is it worth the price of getting that card or is the SCSI and
OS 9.1 too far behind to make it worth the cost and trouble?
Thanks,
Roses
