Dear Friends,

I live in Fairfield, Iowa (approximately 2 1/2 hours SE of Des  
Moines.) I just learned of your group from DW at Haddock Computers.  
He's been very helpful but he thought maybe this group might have  
more answers for me than he does at the moment.

  I bought a MacBook Pro a few months ago and have found it too hot  
to be comfortable to work with, especially for the left hand. The  
computer has been checked out and everything appears to be ok with it  
except that the human who uses it finds all this heat distressing.

I bought an x-pad (www.x-pad4laptop.com) for it and now the computer  
seems to run a little cooler, but its still too hot for me. Have any  
of you found some kind of pad or something that would protect my  
hands from the heat and still allow the heat to dissipate?
