[DM-MUG] MS Case settles, no closing of the 'digital divide'

According to the AP - MS case here settled and the attorney for
plaintiffs said that half of the amount would be used to "close the
digital divide in Iowa". That's bull.

Closing the divide would mean providing Intel based multi-operating
system Apple Macintoshes in the schools, not providing Windows only
computers [unless of course the computers were Intel based Macs which
were loaded with Windows and OSX]. Letting MS give away a bunch of
computers or software to schools that is proprietary to MS [which was
done in other cases] is not an answer to an antitrust suit = it is
the perpetuation of the monopoly = I never understood that before and
certainly don't understand it now.
