[DM-MUG] I figured out the logic

i'm with ya on that.  same experience.  but then i remember that  
future updates of iLife
will have more features and require the greater processing speed just  
to run as it does now.
i'm overdue for a new laptop, but trying to hold out for intel's  
newly announced chips
with 45 nm features that hold some promise of beating the heat problem.
maybe in the fall, maybe next spring - if i can last.
