[And now, a word from our sponsor]
The DM-MUG cannot be all things to all people and certainly, it is
not in the group's best interest to provide free consulting. We ARE,
however, made up of people who do their best to come together to
initiate thought, promote community, and occasionally talk trash
about Microsoft.
I am heartened by the recent increase in list traffic and hope that
everyone sees that we try to foster a common place to voice opinions
and learn something new. While I would try to make every effort to
accommodate meeting ideas and include timely concepts and topics that
focus on what people want, we are a diverse group and must work
within our limitations. Holly is also right that there are only so
many meetings. As the Mac market in DSM grows, I'm sure that things
will change and our group will need to do the same.
Keep the ideas coming and don't assume that we remember (or read)
everything that's posted. Now I have to go back into the archives to
see what other ideas I might have passed up.
As usual, if anyone wants to see a change, volunteer to present. Be
an officer. Bring cookies. Buy us all new 30" Cinema Displays, etc.
