I hadn't seen mention of this on the list, so I thought I'd put it out
there in case anyone finds it as useful as I do.

There is a web site, relatively new but very mature, which combines Cool
Mac OS X Software with DIGG. Basically it lists software for Mac OS X,
complete with user comments, etc. which can be buried or promoted (- or +)
just like DIGG uses for articles. The primary list display also has a
badge, a la DIGG, which shows how many users actually use the programs.
After registering, you can click the 'I Use This" link to be added to the
people who use the software.

I've always prided my self on knowing the best app for a given situation,
or at least what the options are. I was both dismayed to learn there was a
lot of Mac OS X software out there I'd never heard of, and overjoyed that
I found a new resource for cool new Mac OS X software.
