[DM-MUG] Changing display resolution with script

I have been hunting for scripting commands to change the resolution 
on my display.  I want to run the script and have it change the 
resolution, launch a game, play, quit and have it restore the 
original resolution. I cannot seem to find a scripting command to do 
this. What am I missing--if it can be done. System Preferences 
doesn't seem to be recordable. Automator doesn't seem to have a 
action like this.
