[DM-MUG] My own version of weird printer

Epson's are notorious for this, especially the CX models and those  
manf. about the same time. There are many posts online regarding new  
cartridges that won't print and faulty printers just out of warranty.  
It has to do with the chip on the printer not being reset properly  
once a new cart is installed. I'm surprised that Epson hasn't had a  
class-action law suit regarding this. I know there'll be a few  
responders who've had no problems, but I've seen this issue myself  
quite a few more times than I'd like.

Regardless, you should call Epson and request (strongly?) that they  
service your printer. Do a Google search for "Epson cx6400 won't  
print," chief among the problems reported will be your symptom.
