[DM-MUG] Airport hardware missing on my Mac Book Pro???

it was there but I had to restart and did a repair permission and 
then looked and poof, the Airport menu item was gone...I opened up 
Internet Connect and it says there is no Airport Hardware on the 
MBP...well, there is or was...so where do I go to check attachment 
and reattach...?  I didn't drop it or anythingwell, I restarted it 
and it's 'back'

but it took forever to load....I assume this is an AppleCare or 
Genius Bar issue....what might be the culprit?
