Good idea for the short term but I'm looking for a longer term 
solution = the info on the web will make your mind go haywire....it's 
hard to figure out what the best 'deal' is...it's much more than the 
comparison of discount rates and, apparently, many processers now do 
this on web basis so no software is needed anyway....Thanks for the 
info.

PayPal's rate is around 2.90 and others who provide web based 
services are in that range or lower.
