>Good Morning,

> I am a newer switcher to the Mac - welcome and congrats!
I attended last night and there is a plan in place to put together
meeting programs etc., so if you have areas in which you, as a new
Mac user, need help or want to get more information, I think you
should post here or contact Matt Wheeler or Bryan Baker, so they can
organize some presentations.
It is summertime and in all groups, meeting attendance falls off, but
I think the plan for programs looks good = there's almost too much
information! I suggested last night that we not only have a
presentation on novice/switcher topics but also one for experts and
techies...the problem in mixed groups such as this [and another I'm
in] is that if you pitch the programs to the knowledgeable, you make
them meaningless to new folks, and if you keep it simple for new
folks, you make it useless for those who are experts. A mix is good.
It would be good for you to suggest some topics of interest to you so
those who might be more used to the Mac world can know what 'new'
information is helpful....and we can always use a refresher course!
