[DM-MUG] Apple Laptop Battery Exchange Program Update 8/24/06

Check your iBook G4 and PowerBook G4 batteries, everyone.  Takes about 2
minutes.  Looks like mine falls into the recalled range.

Interesting.  The one I've got replaced the one that shipped with my
machine, which was recalled within a week of my original purchase.  But hey,
I won't sneeze at a brand-new battery.

Now can someone please tell me why this recall of 1.1 million Apple
batteries is getting more media attention than the 4 million recalled Dell
batteries?  Oh yeah, I remember.  The media hates AAPL.

Way to go, Sony!  Keep up the good work!
