a PHP developer contract position that begins this Monday. He wasn't sure
how to go about contacting the group without coming across as some sort of
spammer. (My paraphrasing, not his words.) He has been involved in
a number of PHP projects in the past few months and expects to see some more in
the near future.<br>

Should I simply ask him join the list? Or is there any historical
precedent here about who can/can't participate? I, personally, would be
interested in a potential small side project here or there. I'd also make
the argument that this fits with the groups purpose of promoting php locally.<br>
