From JBeauchamp at cds-global.com Tue Mar 2 11:16:38 2010 From: JBeauchamp at cds-global.com (Jamie A Beauchamp) Date: Tue, 2 Mar 2010 11:16:38 -0600 Subject: [ciapug] PHP Message-ID: Hi, I am new to this group and have a question. I am hoping someone out there has had this issue and has a fix for it. I am trying to install the PECL Extension for MQ Series on my Windows developement machine. It downloads the extension but when it goes to build it I get teh following errors. D:\opt\xampp>pecl install mqseries-0.11.0 downloading mqseries-0.11.0.tgz ... Starting to download mqseries-0.11.0.tgz (36,243 bytes) ..........done: 36,243 bytes 8 source files, building running: msdev mqseries.dsp /MAKE "mqseries - Release" ERROR: Did not understand the completion status returned from msdev.exe. D:\opt\xampp> That is all I get. Has anyone seen this before? Are there log files somewhere I can look at? Any constructive suggestions are always welcome. Last release was Jan 2008. You might try asking the php window developers in IRC on irc.freenode.net in #php-win. That or trying contact the author directly. Are you doing actual asynchronous programming with MQ Series or using it to simply access mainframe data. If you it is the latter, we get around the use of MQ by having our mainframe developers expose methods to us via web services. Good thing is it removes need for MQ, bad thing is it means you are likely dependent on another person to do the mainframe web service. --Tony On Tue, Mar 2, 2010 at 11:16 AM, Jamie A Beauchamp < JBeauchamp at cds-global.com> wrote: > > Hi, I am new to this group and have a question.
