[ciapug] PHP User group

I just had this book released today with information on how to connect flash to Symfony.

http://friendsofed.com/book.html?isbn=9781430209935

I will probably do a complete book for Flex and Zend this fall. Everything is in the works I just have to decide if I want to go through the pain of an editor! For some reason programming English and English are to totally different things.

I received a free copy of Flex Builder 3 Professional at an Adobe conference last fall in Omaha. I've installed it and created the "hello world" example. I've also installed the compiler on IIS6 and Apache 2.2.x, so the SWF files are created on the fly. This sounds like an interesting topic to me.

I've downloaded the Zend Framework, but haven't started using it yet. I bought a book that uses it for the web site project:

Practical Web 2.0 Applications with PHP

I'm using Symfony for a back end and Propel for the front end right now for creating forms (we do a lot of forms).
