This week we are going to be publicly releasing the Zend_Amf proposal. Zend_Amf will implement the Action Message Format serialization gateway for connecting the flash player to the Zend Framework. This will be great tool for building complex Rich Internet Applications.

Speaking topic.

Leverage ZEND Framework for your next Flex RIA

In this session you will learn the basics of setting up an Flex to connect to ZEND_ZMF environment. We will then walk through a CRUD (create, read, update, delete) example in and Flex 3. You should leave this session with confidence in starting to use ZEND_AMF in building your business logic and data tiers for future Flex and PHP based applications. Throughout the session we will describe some of the tips and tricks for optimizing ZEND_AMF with information on class mapping, Authentication, ArrayCollection's, and ZEND_DB, and more which will keep the attention of even the most veteran RIA developer.
