starting a hackerspace in Des Moines.<br>
<br>
What is a hackerspace? Good question! A hackerspace is quite simply a<br>
physical location where people can meet up and work on their projects. We could do all kinds of things with this space:<br>
<br>
- Hold events like game jams, presentations, LAN parties, etc.<br>
- Have a meeting space for local user groups (Linux User Group or Web Geeks maybe?)<br>
- Cheap coworking space for those looking to work somewhere else besides<br>
home<br>
- Work/collaborate on projects that wouldn't easily fit at home<br>
- Other ideas we haven't even thought of yet<br>

If you think this sounds like a good idea and want to be involved or help out in some fashion please let me know :)<br>
