I don't have an Android phone, but a guy at work does. He's rooted his, and removed Blur. He said doing that dramatically increased the speed of the phone, and increased battery life. He said there are roms you can put on there instead of Blur and still get some of the functionality, but still have improved speed and battery life.<br>

Ummm...Why didnt you use <a href="http://unrevoked.com/" target="_blank">Unrevolked</a>? It took me about a minute to root my HTC Incredible. Well, I did it the old way before unrevolked but have since used them to re-root it and to turn s-off with unrevolked
forever.<br>
