<p>Given that CentOS 5 is based upon RHEL 5 and that RHEL 5 is a couple of years old now it shouldn't be surprising that stuff like GPT partitions aren't supported. After all, that's kind of the point of an enterprise distribution. Give the RHEL 6 beta a try and see if it supports GPT drives.</p>
