Even though most work on products/services, a lot of them do work for celebrities and executives. A consultant wouldn't be much of a stretch for them.

In my instance, I was trying to create a custom cover letter for "a" specific job opening at "a" specific company. I never use the same cover letter twice. I also have a template resume that I use as a starting point, and then customize the resume for the job description. The reason I was looking for someone to write "a" cover letter, was because I was looking to apply for "a" open position. I am willing to pay a person to write "a" quality cover letter for each and every specific job opening for which I am applying. But, if I'm going to pay someone, it needs to be a superbly high quality cover letter, and I have yet to find anybody in the Des Moines area who offers, and delivers that.
