Still, it's odd that Google put an Arabic title on *that* Bethlehem but not on Bethlehem, PA. And that's a much bigger town, you'd think Google would want that town to have other languages.

If you go to street view, and go exactly to that spot, there appears to be a church on the south side of the road. Perhaps it is a church of a middle-eastern religion? It looks pretty Christian, but I guess someone could have bought it and converted it.
>> there's what looks like Arabic script. Funny.
>
> It's hard to tell because the script is so small, but it's likely that
> it's Arabic for "Bethlehem"
>
> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethlehem
>
> According to some of the other maps I looked at there's a small
> unincorporated town named Bethelhem/Bethlehem located there.

Good eyes! Interestingly, Google maps knows the location by both
spellings. A mile or so to the south of that spot is Bethlehem Cemetery,
so I'd bet on "Bethlehem".

The Arabic /is/ surprising. (Isn't technology wonderful?)
