I find the lsmod says nothing about "sis". Should the sis driver be loaded by xorg? I tried generating a xorg.conf, which lists "sis" as the driver. I restarted gdm and lsmod still doesn't list sis. Before buying a new vid-card I'd like to make sure the current one is configured and not using a generic vesa driver. I can modprobe sis, and then lsmod shows it. How do I force it to load on reboot, and force xorg to use it?<br>
