I am also using 10.04 Alpha, and when I did a fresh install from the CD, the default scheme was the Human scheme. I AM one release behind on the Alpha, so maybe the default scheme is going to change (or has changed) away from the brown human scheme, but not the one I have installed.

Beta 1 is scheduled for release 2 weeks from today, I'm planning on performing a fresh install when it comes. Will I see the new branding on that release?

Tim Champion
timchampion@gmail.com
Brown is not one of the colors for Ubuntu any more. The only place I see it is in the human icon scheme. That's hardly a "sea of brown." The new colors are purple and orange. The focus has gone from "human" to "light."

I'm using the alpha and there is *no* brown on my desktop anywhere.

On Thu, Mar 4, 2010 at 10:52 AM, Tim Champion <timchampion@gmail.com> wrote:
I see a "thinner" font, and that's about it. Orange & brown still. I gotta say I kinda like the orange and brown color scheme, I just don't see a significant change.
Not to be hyper-critical. But what's changed? Via the screenshots at the bottom I still get the sense that Ubuntu = a sea of brown. :-/

On Wed, Mar 3, 2010 at 9:23 PM, Matthew Nuzum <newz@bearfruit.org> wrote:
