I guess I'm confused by the screenshots. The folders and icons still look pretty orangish brown to me. Plus I think my eyes were looking at one of the background options that was brownish and painting the background behind the windows the same color. Anything going to happen to brighten up the title/menu bars?<br>

I guess I don't know, I thought it went public the same time the announcement went out. Hold tight I guess. Enjoy the screenshots. :-)<div><div></div><div class="h5"><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Thu, Mar 4, 2010 at 11:16 AM, Tim Champion <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:timchampion@gmail.com" target="_blank">timchampion@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br>

I AM one release behind on the Alpha, so maybe the default scheme is going to change (or has changed) away from the brown human scheme, but not the one I have installed.<br>
<br>Beta 1 is scheduled for release 2 weeks from today, I'm planning on performing a fresh install when it comes. Will I see the new branding on that release?<div><br><br clear="all">Tim Champion<br><a href="mailto:timchampion@gmail.com" target="_blank">timchampion@gmail.com</a><br>

Brown is not one of the colors for Ubuntu any more. The only place I see it is in the human icon scheme. That's hardly a "sea of brown." The new colors are purple and orange. The focus has gone from "human" to "light."<br>
<br>I'm using the alpha and there is *no* brown on my desktop anywhere.<div><div></div><div><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Thu, Mar 4, 2010 at 10:52 AM, Tim Champion <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:timchampion@gmail.com" target="_blank">timchampion@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br>

I see a "thinner" font, and that's about it. Orange & brown still. I gotta say I kinda like the orange and brown color scheme, I just don't see a significant change.<br>

Not to be hyper-critical. But what's changed? Via the screenshots at the bottom I still get the sense that Ubuntu = a sea of brown. :-/<br><br><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div><div></div><div>On Wed, Mar 3, 2010 at 9:23 PM, Matthew Nuzum <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:newz@bearfruit.org" target="_blank">newz@bearfruit.org</a>></span> wrote:<br>
