You can still run Ubuntu on a PPC (see <a href="http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/karmic/release/">http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/karmic/release/</a> ) but you may want to go back a version or two if you have hardware struggles. Hardy SP1 and newer is available with Firefox 3.x which will give you a modern browsing experience.<br>
