secret. I think most carriers thought Apple wouldn't be able to pull<br>
it off.</blockquote><div><br>Na. From what I heard everyone was interested from day 1. AT&T was just able to *afford* them (mostly by overcharging their customers). Apple got massively greater kickbacks from AT&T for the exclusivity. Esp on the 1st gen iPhone.<br>
