A lot of the high end cars seem to come with something tranmission-a-tronic or matic where you can shift, or the car will do it for you. Really lame IMHO. Volvo and Porche have stuff like that.</blockquote></div><br>My VW Jetta has that, and it is indeed really lame. I played with it at the very beginning and then never touched it again. There's no clutch or anything -- basically you can hint to the car you prefer current_automatic_gear +/- 1, and it will still override you if it thinks you're an idiot.<br>
