Hello! Glad to hear about some Iowa Linux Gurus!<br>

I have been a linux user now for 3 years. I tried my hand an a software<br>
raid 5 with mdadm and had it working for about 6 months before a power<br>
outage brought havoc on my raid. I was wondering if there are any<br>
software raid specialists in your group that could help me out. I have<br>
been searching the internet and tried everything for the last 6 months<br>
with no successful fixes.<br>

I am at the point that I would drive anywhere to have someone look at my<br>
box to get my data back. All I really want is my data back, ie family<br>
videos, pictures, personal documents.<br>
