(Dave isn't the only one who can reply to himself.)<br><br>Perusing that link a little deeper reveals the name "Gigafast WF748-CUI". I'm not sure about the model number, but that's the brand I've got. It uses the zd1211 driver.

I have a no-name USB WiFi dongle which wasn't mentioned in that link. There's a driver distributed with Ubuntu (I believe it's in the mainline kernel, but I'm not positive), and I didn't have to do anything to get it to work (well, plug it in...). I don't have my laptop with me right now, but I'll look when I get home.
