<DIV>Hi All,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Our nanny's computer hard drive stopped working. She bought her system from Best Buy, including the warranty (no comments necessary on extended warranties as I suspect we're all in agreement). Anyway, the Geek Squad will replace the hard drive for no additional charge but data recovery would be in the neighborhood of $300. I had her bring the box by to see if I could pull the drive and install as a slave on one of my machines. Turns out it's a SATA drive and all I have is IDE and SCSI. The Geeks told her the drive was "domed"? Does that mean a problem with the spindle and the drive won't spin up at all? Any suggestions for her?</DIV>
