Hey all,

I have a friend who is trying to upgrade the kernel on her Linux Mint
system using the Update Manager.

She has like 8GB of free space on her harddrive.

Current kernel version is 4.15.0-38-generic.

She gets these error messages:

E:
/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-modules-4.15.0-39-generic_4.15.0-39.42~16.04.1_amd64.deb:
cannot copy extracted data for './boot/System.map-4.15.0-39-generic' to
'/boot/System.map-4.15.0-39-generic.dpkg-new': failed to write (No space
left on device)
E:
/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-4.15.0-39-generic_4.15.0-39.42~16.04.1_amd64.deb:
cannot copy extracted data for './boot/vmlinuz-4.15.0-39-generic' to
'/boot/vmlinuz-4.15.0-39-generic.dpkg-new': failed to write (No space left
on device)
That's the first error message.
The second one is:
Gtk-WARNING : Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "adwaita", at
/usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Gnome.pm line 96, <> line 2.
